Lovely daylillies, which grow wild along country roads all over Indiana. They are fast disappearing, even though they are very hardy, because highway workers mow them down year after year as though the lilies are weeds. A great lack of respect for the beauty of our natural world.
The original painting is a 29x29 inch oil on panel.
